BioPay ties your customers' checking account information to a unique biometric that cannot be
lost or stolen — their fingerprints. Once customers have enrolled in the system, they can
make purchases at any BioPay location. The customer simply enters their unique BioPay number,
touches their finger to the reader, and they're ready to go.
What is a finger scan?
During the scanning process, the index finger is assigned a number corresponding to random data
points on the finger.
Each time a customer uses their finger to make a purchase, the BioPay system
is comparing the algorithm (the data points), as well as the 10-digit number, to verify the match
and authorize a secure debit from that checking account.
It's a unique identifier that cannot be lost or stolen.
How does a customer enroll in BioPay?
Our one-time enrollment and purchase process is convenient and easy to use. A customer presents
an ID, their index fingers are scanned and a 10-digit personal search code (usually their phone
number) is entered.
How does a customer make purchases using BioPay?
To make a purchase, the customer simply enters their 10-digit number and places
their finger on the sensor and their account of choice is debited. Funds are securely transferred
from the enrolled account to the merchant.
With BioPay, customers can make purchases without a
check, ID, credit or debit card and their biometric finger scan acts as a unique signature that no
one can replicate — it's by far the most secure way to make purchases.
